Water Quality

Hard water, or water conditions such as smelly, rusty, or milky water, as well as water which causes stained fixtures, can be easily fixed and/or avoided if a few simple guidelines are followed. These water conditions are covered separately in the articles, Common Water Problems and Hard Water

More serious problems such as the presence of certain contaniments, pollutants, and bacteria can seriously affect the quality and safety of drinking water.

There are a number of on-line articles and websites that address the topics most frequently discussed concerning the purity and safety of our water supply.
