On-Line Design Tools

More manufactures are providing on-line design tools. These 3-D programs allow you to design your own bathroom, custom shower, or faucet.

The programs are tailored to each manufacturer's products. Not only can you print out the final design, but you'll get a materials list showing model number (some provide pictures on the list) and the cost of fixtures, faucets, and other materials, based on the manufacturer's suggested retail price.

Bring the list with you when you visit our showroom. In most cases, you'll be able to see the products you selected on-line, and you'll save time!

Kohler
You must register in order to print the final design and materials list, but you can play with the programs as a guest.

Kohler Virtual Bathroom Gallery - explore pre-designed bathroom floor plans in 3-D. The Details link provides a list of materials, and information on the products used.

Kohler Virtual Bath Planner - This program will be easier to use, if you start with the floor plan model. Set the room size, add wall partitions, windows, doors, etc. , then switch to the 3-D model to add fixtures, etc. All Kohler bath products are contained in folders (as pictures). Click and drag to create your dream bathroom!

Kohler Custom Shower Design Ideas - allows you to select from several pre-designed custom shower models, then choose the individual components. This is great place to start if you're not sure what you want.

Plan your own Custom Kohler Shower - the program offers lots of on-line help. It will warn you if the shower valve you have selected is unable to handle the number of sprays chosen. It also uses people models (based on height) to help determine the proper location for showerheads and sprays.

Moen
Design Your Own Bathroom - you'll need to register to use this program. However, You will be decorating a bathroom, rather than designing one. Choose from Moen's popular faucet families; coordinate your favorite faucet style and finish with matching bathroom accessories including towel bars, soap/toothbrush holders and more. Choose your sink, countertop, wall colors and your cabinet finish.

Design Your Own Moen Vertical Spa - you have to start by choosing between 3 styles of shower fixtures, then the finish, then determine which wall you want the shower on. Once completed, you are free to change anything you want. There is a link for Popular Setups - which allows you choose from several pre-designed custom showers. The materials list and cost appears on the same screen, and updates as you make changes.
