SOAKING TUBS
The soaking tub is deeper and typically wider than a standard bathtub, and permits the bather to enjoy a relaxing soak while submerged to the chin.

The most widely known type of soaking tub is the traditional, free-standing, ball and clawfoot tub. Contemporary styles, drop-in and alcove models are available.
In addition, many manufacturers offer a "soaking version" of their whirlpool, air massage and bubbler tubs.
