Sinks/Lavatories
They can be mounted flush to the wall, recessed or semi-recessed. They are available in a wide range of sizes, including small hand sinks. While wall mounted sinks can be placed anywhere (in a bedroom, or even at the end of a custom shower stall) they generally offer little room for putting toiletries and other items. To help eliminate clutter, a narrow shelf or built-in ledge above the sink, as well as a medicine cabinet are recommended. Wall hung sinks are ideal in bathrooms used by children. Some units are available with an adjustable height option to allow for height changes after installation.
A wall-mount sink has no supply line plumbing underneath it. Fixtures as well as the sink itself can be recessed into the wall.
Console tables for the bathroom are wall mounted lavatories, that have legs attached to help support the unit. Some models have 2 legs, some 4. Learn More about console tables... Materials
