Cincinnati Outside Commercial Sales
Summary and Overview
Position is responsible for generating and managing sales within their assigned territory to mostly mechanical contractors doing business in the commercial market.
Responsibilities
  • Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within assigned territory.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Selling via a "value proposition" and "service differentiation".
  • Effectively work with the inside sales and operations team to ensure superior customer service through delivery.
Requirements
  • Two years of successful experience in outside sales in the commercial market.
  • Two years of either inside or outside sales focusing on residential and/or commercial plumbing sales to residential plumbers or mechanical contractors, preferably in the plumbing area, but HVAC, electrical equipment, core construction materials would also be valuable. The key is familiarity with the plumbers and mechanical contractor trade and personnel in the Cincinnati market.
  • Excellence in developing strong customer relationships and loyalty.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated to continually enhance your selling skills and product knowledge.
  • College degree in business related field preferred.

Columbus Inside Sales
Summary and Overview
The Inside Salesperson will work closely with our outside sales and operations team to provide customers with the proper product/s and service/s from quoting to on-time delivery.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good selling skills.
  • Knowledge of the plumbing trade and products (preferred).
  • Experience, ideally 2+ years, in Inside Sales, preferably with a plumbing distributor. Comparable experience with HVAC, electrical, building materials, various types of distributors would also be valuable.
  • Ability to work well with others, across all departments, in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, especially in pricing, quoting, order entry, and order management.
  • Motivation and a desire to learn.

Warehouse Driver
Summary and Overview
This position is responsible for the delivery of Keidel products to our customers.
Responsibilities
  • Attend work regularly on the agreed upon schedule and be fit for duty
  • Follow all Keidel safety practices and policies
  • Follow all traffic laws
  • Dress in Keidel Supply uniform including all safety equipment (e.g. steel toed boots)
  • Act professionally and with integrity while on the job as a representative of Keidel Supply
  • Safely operate a Keidel owned box truck for the transportation of all Keidel products to our customer sites
  • Bring any equipment or customer issues to the attention of management immediately
  • Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED with high school level ability in math and reading
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for box truck/flatbed truck operation
  • Maximum of three jobs in three years, not to exceed five jobs in five years
  • Ability to ensure that gaps in employment of thirty days have been accounted for and verified
  • Clean driving record, including no DUI's and DWI's in the past 5 years
  • No controlled substance charges and /or convictions
  • Reliability—a record of good attendance
  • Work well individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Experience operating a forklift preferred
  • Applicant must be able to lift flooring boxes weighing 50-75lbs
  • Must be able to drive standard transmission
  • Must be able to drive a 22ft flat bed/box truck
  • Required education:
  • High school or equivalent

    Warehouse Employee
    Summary and Overview
    Warehouse personnel are key members of the Keidel team, participating in the day-to-day operations that keep our company running efficiently. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must in this fast-paced environment.
    Responsibilities
  • Preparing orders by processing requests and orders; pulling materials; placing orders in delivery area
  • Maintaining inventory controls
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
  • Completing reports by entering required information
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED with high school level ability in math and reading
  • Meets department demands without sacrificing quality
  • Ensures safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities
